My name is Stone and this is my Zone.
This is my zone, and my name is Stone. I am a 23 year old living in Washington state, though I am orignally from southern California. I moved up
here in 2022 after graduating from Cal Poly SLO. I have many hobbies and many projects, most of which are either half finished or half abandoned.
I am interested in puzzles and ciphers, plant and animal identification, amateur botony and foraging, kitchen experiments (e.g. peanut coffee),
recording and composing music (both classical and more contempory styles), and recently I have gotten into movies. For the last two years now I was
determined to watch all oscar nominated movies from the time they were announced and trying to finish before the oscars, which is like two months for
probably 50 movies, and so far I have been successful, though I still don't really support the oscars and what it stands for in the capitalist
lifestyle of Hollywood elites and the ignoring of less profitable, more diverse films.
Anyway, I am excited to share all of this with you, especially a hopefully fun and fiendish puzzle I am working on. Making a website is an entirely
new adventure for me and a bit more of an undertaking than I first realised, though I am having a lot of fun learning the ins and outs of design and
the wonderful culture of personal websites made to share creativity and grow communities rather than made only for profit or necessity. Enjoy!
